Meredith's art show

Yesterday Meredith had her senior IB art show. Her theme was "Life is Beautiful." Here's my girl, with her work:

I just finished ordering Meredith's senior pictures. I can't believe it, really. Weren't we just looking at those toothless first grade portraits? I read in someone else's blog that childhood is long days and short years. I couldn't agree more.

Over the River and Through the Woods

To Grandmother's (and Grandfather's! and Aunt's! and Uncle's! and Cousin's!) houses we go. We're on day two of our nearly 1,000 mile trek to the East Coast to visit our family. First stop is Maryland, then Philadelphia, then Connecticut. We don't make it back as often as we'd like, but when we do we try to make the most of our time and see as many people as we can. I wish you the merriest and happiest of all!
